K-pop Season 3 : Amazing!

지난 2023년 12월 2일(토).

K-Voice Season 3 가 New Tampa Performing Art Center 에서 진행되었습니다.

K-Voice는 한국 문화를, 이곳 탬파베이 지역에 알리기 위한 목적으로, 서부 한인회가 주최하고, 해외동포청과 애틀란타 총영사관, 그리고 지역 상공인들의 후원으로 이번이 세번째 경연이었습니다.

25개팀의 참가자와 350여명의 관람객이 한국노래와 춤사위로 즐거운 시간을 가졌습니다.

재향군인의 날

서부 플로리다한인회 는 재향군인의 달을 맞아 금일 오전 11시에 한국전 참전용사인 Mr Tom Kanell 과 한국근무 베테랑이신 Mr Eugene Roering 그리고 함께 근무 하셨던 Mrs Maria Roering 을 모시고 새로 오픈한 롯데 마트에서 한국식당과 제과점 그리고 한국 그로서리 를 구경후 Stonewood grill & Tavern 으로 자리를 옮겨 점심식사를 대접했습니다.

불과 13년전만 하더라도 한국전 참전용사회가 지역마다 잘 조직되어있어 챕터에 연락만 하면 참전용사들을 찾을수 있었는데 시간이 흐를수록 용사들을 뵐 기회가 적어지는 것 같아 안타까울 따름입니다.

참전용사인 Mr Tom Kanell 님은 따님이신 Diane 님과 함께 오셔서 부축도 마다하시며 노익장을 과시하셨습니다. 하지만 워낙 고령이신지라 기억이 없으셔서 따님이 어렸을때 들었던 스토리를 우리에게 전해 주셨습니다.

함께 오신 Mr Eugene Roering, Mrs Maria Roering 님과 함께 정말 즐거운 시간을 보냈습니다.

서부 플로리다한인회 는 지속적으로 한국전 참전용사와 그리고 그의 가족들을 찾아 우리나라 를 위해 헌신했던 은혜를 감사함으로 꼭 보답하겠습니다.

오늘 즐겁고 뜻깊은 자리에 함께 해주신 신광수 회장, 나현자 수석이사님, 한재덕 총장, 줄리여 처장, 김세리 실장, 엘리나 정 실장, 김이경님, 그리고 젊은 베테랑이신 Mr Ken 님께 진심으로 감사드립니다.

About the event K-Voice Florida 2023 Season 3 Audition Form Hello, everyone! We hope everyone has been well! We are glad to inform all of you that the K-Voice Florida season 3 is coming on December 2nd.

1. Application Register your application through the floridakorean.org website. : closed on 22nd of November.

2. Eligibility and Requirements KVF Audition Requirements:

• K-Voice Florida is open to anyone.

• For this KVF, participants can choose either the K-pop cover singing or dancing category.

• Songs should be K-pop, K-pop collaborations with American artists, or old Korean-type songs (Folk, Trot, Gayo, and Traditional songs).

• If you choose the dance category, the dance should be a K-pop cover dance.

• All music and dance should have a time limit. It should not be over 3 mins of time.

• Contestants can perform solo or in a group.

• Contestants must be 15 years old or older.

• Registration forms MUST be submitted by November 22nd at 11:59 P.M.

• MR (Music recorded) or Accompaniment Track should be sent to floridakorean.org@gmail.com and confirmed before November 22nd at 11:59 P.M. So please communicate with floridakorean.org@gmail.com earlier than a schedule before 25th of Nov.

• We don't accept MR (Music recorded) or Accompaniment Track after 22nd of November.

3. Prizes

• Grand Prize: $1,000

• Singing 1st Place: $300

• Singing 2nd Place: $200

• Dancing 1st Place: $300

• Dancing 2nd Place: $200

• Audience Favorite: $200

4. Ticket fee

• $25 for audience and $20 for contestants

• All guests must purchase tickets to watch the show. /Dinner and special performances are included.
